DESCRIPTION:
Never get stranded again. This BLR TUNING Clutch Spreader Bolt Set is a must-have trail tool for every 2026 Kawasaki TERYX H2 owner. Whether you’re deep in the dunes, on a trail, or just far from the shop, these bolts allow you to remove and replace your CVT belt in about 15–20 minutes with nothing more than basic hand tools.
This set includes three (3) high-strength Grade 10.9 galvanized steel bolts designed specifically to spread the secondary clutch evenly for safe and simple belt removal. These are the exact bolts we use in-house at BLR TUNING on our own H2 “BOOGIE MAN,” so you know they’re tested, proven, and reliable under real-world conditions.
KIT INCLUDES:
(3) Heavy-Duty Galvanized Steel Grade 10.9 Clutch Spreader Bolts
Designed to perfectly fit the 2026 Kawasaki TERYX H2, TERYX4 H2, and TERYX5 H2 models
Packaged and inspected by BLR TUNING
RECOMMENDED TOOLS:
To perform a full belt change out on the trail, you’ll need:
11mm socket (for the clutch spreader bolts)
10mm socket (for clutch cover bolts)
Replacement CVT belt
Scotch-Brite pad, acetone, and brake clean for cleaning clutch sheaves
INSTALLATION OVERVIEW:
1. Remove the clutch cover – 10 bolts (10mm). Don’t forget the rear heat shield secured by three bolts protecting the cover from exhaust heat.
2. Engage the e-brake and put the car in high gear (engine off).
3. Insert the three BLR TUNING clutch spreader bolts evenly into the threaded holes of the secondary clutch. Thread them in by hand using an 11mm socket — do not use a power tool or impact.
4. Turn each bolt a few turns at a time, keeping even pressure on all three until the clutch sheaves open enough for the belt to loosen.
5. Remove the old belt: walk it up and over the rear pulley, sliding it off toward the front of the car.
6. Clean both clutch sheaves thoroughly before installing a new belt.
7. Install the new belt:
Drop it over the primary clutch (front of vehicle).
Set it on top of the secondary clutch (rear).
Shift to neutral, keeping the e-brake engaged.
Spin the rear pulley backwards (top turning toward the rear) to walk the belt into place.
8. Slowly remove the spreader bolts a little at a time, continuing to walk the clutch forward until the belt begins to seat properly.
9. Once fully seated, reinstall the clutch cover and heat shield using all 10 bolts
BELT BREAK-IN PROCEDURE:
Your belt’s life depends on proper break-in. Skip this, and you’ll likely snap it just like we did with our shop H2 “BOOGIE MAN.”
- 1. After installing a new belt, drive gently at low speeds (under 25 mph) for 15–20 minutes.
- 2. Let the vehicle cool down completely for 30 minutes.
- 3. Repeat the heat cycle one more time.
- 4. Avoid full or half throttle during this process. The goal is to get heat evenly into the belt before applying heavy load.
- 5. After two full heat cycles, the belt is considered broken in and ready to ride.
