We recommend if you are going to have your vehicle parked for more than 48 hours to put it on a optimate battery tender. Motorcycle, dirt bike, ATV, Can-Am Spyder, Can-Am Ryker, SXS, jet ski, Harley, Indian, any 12 volt powered vehicle that uses a stator instead of an alternator As a charging system. Or vehicles that have an extensive alarm system or stereo system installed. These things all take a toll on the battery. A stator cannot charge the battery backup like an alternator can like what you'd find on your normal car or truck. For those reasons if the vehicle is going to sit for any extensive amount of time longer than 2 days. It should be put on a battery tender.
