The ARAI HELMETS Signet-X Helmet features an advanced long oval shape designed for riders with narrow heads and prominent foreheads, providing a secure and comfortable fit. Its shell is constructed using Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC), which combines multiple materials and techniques to deliver a balance of performance, durability, and affordability. The Signet-X is equipped with the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism, which allows for intuitive, seamless shield operation. The VAS latch securely holds the shield closed, preventing accidental openings, while the larger latch improves ease of use, even with gloves. The VAS system lowers the shield's pivot point by an average of 24 mm, resulting in a smoother shell surface and improved impact energy management around the temple area.
For optimal airflow, the helmet features QVF three-position intake vents and QVR exhaust ducts, ensuring efficient ventilation even when the front shutter is closed. A side exhaust vent continues to operate independently, helping to maintain a comfortable riding environment. The helmet also includes the FCS® Cheek Pads, which are contoured with multiple foam densities and supported by a foam “spring,” providing a snug fit that reduces wind noise and enhances comfort. Additionally, a water-repellent, removable ES chin cover improves the helmet’s egg shape and enhances exhaust from the mouth area for better ventilation.
The interior liner is made from odor-resistant materials that resist bacterial buildup, helping keep the helmet fresher for longer periods. The Signet-X comes with the VAS-Max Vision (MV) shield compatible with the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, which is included along with a Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ lens for fog-resistant visibility.
