Its lightweight design is achieved through Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-cLc2), providing strength and durability without adding unnecessary weight. The helmet's outer shell incorporates extra super fiber belting in critical areas, ensuring rigidity and impact resistance while maintaining a sleek profile. The helmet features a low-profile, 3D ARAI logo duct that is only 3.5 mm thick, designed to feed two central 10 mm intake ports. This duct functions effectively at low speeds and in an upright riding posture, with an easy-to-operate short-stroke lever on top that can be opened or closed with summer or winter gloves. The integrated impact-absorbing breakaway logo duct enhances safety by collapsing upon impact, preventing injury risk. An aerodynamic rear spoiler, inspired by the Corsair-X's DF-X2, is repositioned slightly forward on the shell and is fed by three ports for efficient airflow management. This spoiler not only improves stability and reduces buffeting at highway speeds but also minimizes rider fatigue during long rides.
Ventilation is further optimized with a three-position sliding chin vent, allowing airflow control with a large intake volume and a replaceable filter. The thicker, glove-friendly actuating mechanism ensures ease of use in all conditions. The Variable Axis System (VAS) lowers the visor mounting position by approximately 24 mm across the temples, enhancing aerodynamics and energy deflection.
