The Quantum-X is equipped with the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system, which lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm. The VAS latch securely holds the shield closed, preventing accidental openings while allowing easy, intuitive operation even when wearing gloves.

The side vent continues to function as an exhaust even when the front shutter is closed, ensuring continuous airflow. The helmet also features FCS® cheek pads, which are contoured with multiple foam densities and a supportive foam “spring,” providing a secure fit and reducing wind noise. The water-repellent ES chin cover, installed as standard, enhances the helmet's aerodynamic profile, smooths airflow, and increases exhaust from the mouth area to minimize wind noise.
The helmet comes with the VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield, compatible with the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, and includes a Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ insert for fog-free visibility. This combination ensures clear vision in various riding conditions, enhancing safety and confidence on the road.
