The ARAI HELMETS Corsair-X Vinales-5 helmet is designed for optimal performance and safety for motorcycle riders. The internal air channel system enhances ventilation by actively pulling hot and moist air from the eye port area through ducted channels behind the cheek pads, which exhaust out the side cowl vents, helping to keep the rider cool and reduce fogging on the visor for improved visibility and comfort. Constructed with the PB-SNC2 shell, this helmet employs a high-quality Z Resin developed in-house, which bonds multiple layers more securely while using less resin. This innovative material combination results in a stronger yet lighter shell that offers excellent impact resistance and glancing off properties. Reinforced with super fiber and synthetic fibers, the shell maintains durability without adding unnecessary weight, and the internal structural net along with a peripheral belt further enhances shell strength with minimal bulk. The shield features the Variable Axis System (VAS) latch, which securely holds the shield closed to resist unexpected openings, especially critical in demanding riding conditions. The VAS shield mechanism offers smooth operation thanks to a carefully designed pin trajectory and dual pivot points, allowing for effortless opening and closing even with gloves on. A larger, intuitive latch provides easy handling, and the shield has a positive stop to prevent accidental opening, with a slight pull on the lift tab to lift the shield easily. The IC Duct5 system uses a three-position slide gate to improve sealing, reducing noise and water intrusion, while the vents are mounted to break off easily in impact to prevent snagging or injury.
