The receiver insert is manufactured from solid industrial-grade steel and precision machined to measure 1.96 inches square for an excellent fit inside standard 2-inch receiver hitches. The entire assembly features a durable powder-coated finish that helps protect against rust, corrosion, scratches, and harsh outdoor environments. It also features two holes that go all the way through it which makes it mountable in your receiver so the shackle can be set up left to right or up and down.

At the heart of the system is a massive 3/4-inch (19.08 mm) D-ring shackle rated for up to 4 tons of pulling force. The thick powder-coated steel construction provides the strength needed for demanding recovery situations, while the removable rubber isolator helps reduce rattling and protects the finish during use.

The shackle opening measures 1.89 inches (48 mm) internally, allowing plenty of room for recovery straps, tow straps, kinetic ropes, soft shackles, and other recovery accessories.
