The ARAI HELMETS Signet-X Robotik motorcycle helmet in black combines advanced design with superior safety features. Its long oval shape is crafted by increasing the space of the EPS liner front to back and reducing the side-to-side area, making it ideal for riders with a narrow head and a more pronounced forehead. This ergonomic design ensures a snug fit, reducing movement and enhancing protection during rides. The helmet features a Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism that improves the shell's shape, providing a secure and seamless shield operation. The VAS latch holds the shield firmly closed to prevent accidental opening, while the larger latch enhances ease of use, even with gloves on. The VAS shield system lowers the pivot point by approximately 24 mm, resulting in a smoother shell surface around the temple area, which helps to mitigate impact energy transfer and improve overall safety. Constructed with Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC), the helmet combines multiple materials and techniques to deliver both high performance and affordability, ensuring durability and lightweight comfort. Equipped with QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, the helmet offers excellent airflow for riding comfort, even when the front shutter is closed, as the side vent continues to serve as an exhaust. The FCS® cheek pads are contoured and layered with varying foam densities supported by a foam 'spring,' cradling the face snugly to block wind noise and enhance comfort. The helmet features a water-repellent, removable ES chin cover that improves airflow through the egg-shaped design, increasing exhaust from the mouth area. An odor-resistant liner material helps prevent bacteria buildup, keeping the interior fresh over time. The Signet-X comes with the VAS-Max Vision (MV) shield compatible with the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, and a Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ lens is included for anti-fog performance, ensuring clear vision during varied riding conditions.
