Its unique round oval shell, achieved through an interior headliner with thicker front and rear pads combined with thinner side pads, provides a secure fit for riders with slightly wider heads. The Quantum-X features an improved Glance Off Ability thanks to the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system, which lowers the pivot point by approximately 24 mm. This change creates a smoother shell surface around the temple area, reducing impact energy transfer and increasing protection in critical zones. The VAS shield latch offers a secure, intuitive operation, preventing accidental opening and facilitating quick shield adjustments. The helmet is equipped with QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts that optimize airflow, keeping riders cool and comfortable. The side vent remains effective as an exhaust even when the front shutter is closed, ensuring continuous ventilation. The FCS® cheek pads are contoured with multiple foam layers supported by a foam “spring,” which cradles the face, enhances wind noise reduction, and facilitates easy on and off. The helmet also features a water-repellent ES chin cover that enhances the helmet’s aerodynamic profile while increasing exhaust from the mouth area and reducing wind noise from below.
