- The Arai Corsair-X Schwantz 30th Helmet features an intermediate oval shape, fitting a majority of head shapes in North American markets. It also includes an Internal Air Channel system that improves ventilation by extracting hot/moist air from the eye port area and expelling it through ducted channels behind the cheek pads. This helps keep the rider cool and prevents fogging. The PB-SNC2 Shell is made of a Z Resin that is developed and blended in-house, resulting in a stronger yet lighter shell with excellent Glancing Off properties. The addition of internal Structural net and Peripheral Belt further strengthens the shell without adding weight or thickness. The Shield Latch uses a Variable Axis System (VAS) to securely close and resist unexpected opening. The VAS Shield Mechanism allows for smooth opening and closing even with a lower shield mount position. The dual-function lever quickly releases both the side cover/pod and shield pin for easy removal, and the larger latch allows for intuitive use with heavy gloves
