The ARAI Helmets Quantum-X Wave Large helmet offers advanced safety and comfort features designed for riders with slightly wider head shapes. Its round oval shape is achieved through an interior headliner that combines thicker front and rear pads with thinner side pads, providing a snug yet comfortable fit. This design enhances stability and reduces pressure points during long rides, making it suitable for a variety of riding conditions.

The Quantum-X Wave incorporates the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system, which lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm. This adjustment results in a smoother shell surface area around the temple region, effectively reducing impact energy transfer during collisions. The improved shield latch mechanism ensures secure closure and allows for intuitive operation, including a de-mist function, enhancing rider safety and convenience.

Innovative ventilation is achieved through QVF three-position intake ducts and QVR exhaust ducts, providing excellent airflow management. The side vent continues to function as an exhaust even when the front shutter is closed, maintaining optimal cooling and airflow. The helmet also features FCS® cheek pads with a contoured design supported by multiple foam densities and a foam “spring,” which cradles the face comfortably while significantly blocking wind noise.

Additional protective features include a water-repellent ES chin cover, which enhances the helmet's aerodynamic profile by smoothing airflow around the chin area, increasing exhaust, and reducing wind noise.
