The logo duct can be easily opened or closed with a short-stroke lever located on the top, which is operable with summer or winter gloves, ensuring quick adjustments without compromising safety. This feature allows riders to adapt airflow for comfort without removing the helmet. Constructed to break away in the event of an impact, the logo duct maintains safety standards while providing functional airflow management. The helmet's aerodynamic rear spoiler is a one-piece design inspired by the DF-X2 of the Corsair-X but re-engineered for touring applications. It is fed by three ports in the shell, effectively drawing air and smoothing airflow over the helmet’s surface. This results in improved stability and reduced buffeting at highway speeds, significantly decreasing rider fatigue during long-distance rides. The spoiler is mounted slightly forward on the shell and is designed to crush or break away upon impact, ensuring it does not compromise protective performance. A three-position sliding air-scoop chin vent offers excellent airflow with a large intake volume and a replaceable filter, and its thicker mechanism allows easy operation even with gloves. The helmet exterior is designed to accommodate communication systems effortlessly, with no sacrifice to the integrity of the inner EPS liner. It features a stylish, organic shape with Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-cLc2), providing lightweight strength and durability, complemented by integrated side ducts. An extra layer of super fiber belting in the outer shell enhances rigidity in critical areas while maintaining flat sides for easy intercom system installation. The Variable Axis System (VAS) lowers the visor mounting position by approximately 24 mm across the temple areas, creating a smoother profile that better deflects energy and improves safety. The shell flares 5 mm around the opening, facilitating easier helmet on/off for users, especially newcomers. Additionally, a small stitched opening inside the neck roll allows for clean wire management during intercom system installation, maintaining a tidy appearance.
