Or vehicles that have an extensive alarm system or stereo system installed. These things all take a toll on the battery. A stator cannot charge the battery backup like an alternator can like what you'd find on your normal car or truck. For those reasons if the vehicle is going to sit for any extensive amount of time longer than 2 days. It should be put on a battery tender.
